From Sri Lanka to the
Netherlands

Every step of our supply chain is designed to minimize environmental impact while maintaining the highest quality standards.

It all begins among the lush greenery of Sri Lanka. Young jackfruits weighing between one and two kilos are carefully selected and cut from the tree by hand. Only fresh, healthy fruits with the right quality move on to the next stage.

Straight after harvest, the jackfruit travels to the local processing facility. Each fruit is washed, peeled and cut to the desired size. The sticky sap is removed before the pieces are briefly blanched to preserve their natural colour and texture.

Every piece is carefully sorted and inspected for consistent size and quality. Any imperfections are removed, leaving only the best jackfruit ready for further preparation.

Once prepared, the products go through a final quality inspection before being sealed in pouches and securely packed. Ready for the next part of their journey.

The pouches travel by ship from Sri Lanka to the port of Rotterdam. From there, our jackfruit continues its journey to professional kitchens across Europe, ready to become something delicious.

From Rotterdam, the jackfruit travels to our production partners. Some transform it into our perfectly seasoned Jackfruit in Sauce, ready to use in professional kitchens. Others create their own jackfruit specialities, from juicy burgers to exciting plant based products.

The finished products are delivered to selected wholesalers or directly to customers. From there, the jackfruit reaches its final destination: your kitchen and, ultimately, your guests’ plates.

Ready to heat, serve and enjoy.
